Responsibility
- A level 2 contracts manager oversees a project from the start through to completion
- they are responsible for the financial monitoring and control of the contracts
- they will ensure Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance across all phases of the project
- they will ensure the project is completed on time and within budget
- this role will involve managing projects for Environ Audio Ltd
- they will be the first point of contact on the project internally as well as externally for clients, main contractors, site managers, subcontractors, professional teams, and suppliers
- ensure all certification obligations are met by Environ operatives
- attend monthly meetings with the main contractor’s QS to agree the issued variations
Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- experience of working in high end residential installation is essential
- remain up to date on required education or certifications
- experience of managing technology installation projects is essential
- come to work on time, with a positive attitude and ‘team first’ approach to your work
- experience of managing electrical installation projects is essential
- interact professionally and effectively with clients and other contractors and subcontractors
- experience “on the tools” in both electrical and technology projects is highly desirable
- work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that we complete our work thoroughly
Contract type
- be actively involved in the pre-construction design stage to ensure they approve of the proposed works
- attend regular progress and design team meetings as well as ad hoc design workshops
- manage the full commissioning and handover procedures
- ensure that the pre-construction deliverables are timely completed and communicated to clients and professional teams as appropriate
- manage the information flow, and current documentation and drawings to our foreman, design team, and sub-contractors
- ensure that works are completed throughout the project to the highest possible standards
- ensure all operatives are working from the latest Environ information as well as the latest setting out details
- ensure certification is completed and submitted with testing calibration certificates
