Responsibility

  • performing microbiological analysis in accordance with ISO 17025, our management system, and in-house methods
  • maintaining laboratory standards through general tasks such as cleaning, stock checks, waste disposal, and monitoring air and temperature levels
  • preparing and conducting quality control checks on media to ensure accuracy in testing
  • assisting with calibration, servicing, and record-keeping for laboratory equipment
  • supporting the lead auditor during UKAS accreditation visits
  • maintaining accurate and up-to-date laboratory records, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly
  • completing laboratory paperwork related to testing and quality control
  • receiving and logging samples and results efficiently using our Laboratory Information Management System
