EnvaScotland is looking for employees for positions:

welder

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • if successful, you will undergo onsite training on how to maintain and repair a variety of plant and heavy machinery equipment
  • this position will involve shadowing an experience welder, and in future may lead to enrolment on an advanced welding training course
  • undertaking inspections and repairs on a large fleet of skips and boxes
  • undertaking the repair and maintenance on a variety of plant and heavy machinery equipment
  • undertaking various fabrication projects required within the operation
  • working closely with Workshop Manager, following repair plans and working independently to achieve these goals
  • meeting deadlines as required
  • compliance with company health and safety policies and guidance documentation

Requirements

  • no Agencies Please
  • full UK driving licence
  • ability to work well and safely in a team
  • possess a ‘can do’ attitude
  • proven experience in metal fabrication and knowledge of pipework would be advantageous
  • strong communication skills
  • initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
  • strong MIG and ARC welding skills shown through weld test if required
