Responsibility
- perform component-level repairs, utilising micro-soldering techniques and replacing faulty parts as needed
- utilise testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of malfunctions accurately and follow motherboard schematics where applicable
- maintain meticulous records of repairs performed and parts used in our CRM to ensure transparency and accountability
- stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in electronic repair to continuously enhance skills and knowledge
- diagnose and troubleshoot issues with a variety of devices including PC’s, laptops, mobile phones, gaming consoles, tablets, and other electronic consumer products
Requirements
- certification or formal training in electronics repair or a related field
- extensive experience working with a diverse range of computers, laptops and electronic consumer products, including tablets and mobile phones
- knowledge of software troubleshooting and firmware updates
- proven experience as a Repair Technician specialising in electronic devices and motherboards
- knowledge of Windows, Android and IOS
- prior experience in a similar customer service or technical support role
- strong soldering skills, including micro-soldering techniques, with a keen eye for detail
- familiarity with a wide range of testing equipment and diagnostic tools
