Responsibility
- handling customer credit/visa card payments on the card machine and posting out the receipts
- ensuring all purchase invoices are matched correctly with purchase orders and goods-received notes, and that all relevant invoices are sent for authorisation to Managers
- executing controls for the maintenance of accounting and computer-based systems for recording sales ledger remittances, confirming correct allocation to the sales ledger
- posting Sales Invoices onto the relevant portals
- carry out any other relevant duties as and when required
- preparing remittances for all supplier payments
- maintaining and controlling all credit control information, producing a list of overdue aged debts sending letters monthly and placing accounts on-stop where necessary
- responsibility for managing and administrating the process of matching fuel receipts to the weekly reports for all companies
Requirements
- prior experience of both sales and purchase ledger, ideally obtained within a large Company
- precise attention-to-detail skills and numerical accuracy with strong data entry and analytical skills
- administrative experience: 1 year
