Responsibility
- booking in and shipping out client equipment
- managing workshop stock levels
- to provide technical support and guidance to external customers when required
- manage and maintain EMT demonstration and hire equipment fleet of instruments
- occasional visits to customer locations supporting surveys, project meetings, demonstrations, training or installations
- maintain a professional attitude and tidy, organised work environment at all times
- support the calibration team in delivering effective and technically competent maintenance and calibration services on a variety of products both in a calibration workshop environment and potentially on customer sites
- to ensure that customer reports and certificates are completed professionally, clearly articulate the outcome and recommendations of any work conducted and recorded within the Service Database
Requirements
- CSCS or equivalent certified safety training scheme
- minimum GCSE A-C in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering preferred
- an interest in electronics, equipment repair and metrology is desirable
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- well organised, self-motivated, and positive attitude
- ability to work with a structured & methodological approach, but at ease in dynamic, changing environment with multiple inputs
- clean Driving licence
- candidate must be 18 or older due to client site safety and insurance requirements
