enderby Wharf is a residential development in Greenwich with 667 residential apartments, several commercial units, a resident’s gym and communal gardens
end to end responsibility for the development’s Finance function with assistance from the Finance Board members
the development is managed by the Enderby Wharf RTM Company Ltd, a “Right to Manage” Company with leaseholders acting as Board members actively involved in overseeing the governance and operation over the development
the Right to Manage Company employs a team 17 staff to manage and support all the day to day requirements of the development including a management team, concierge staff, maintenance staff, cleaning staff and a dedicated gardener
there is a new requirement for a part time Finance Manager to work closely with the Development Manager, Assistant Development Manager and RTM Board members to support with the day to day finance management activities
assist in maintaining accurate financial records· Assist in reconciliation of various accounts in a timely manner and proactively resolve discrepancies.· Support compiling consolidated quarterly financial statements· Manage the periodic review of vendor statements and creditors, ensuring timely invoice payments within credit terms and proactive follow up on outstanding invoices with the relevant approver.· Manage the processing of vendor & supplier payments.· Manage the month-end Finance processes, including bank reconciliations, prepayments, and reporting.· Assist in preparing year-end financial statements.· Collaborate closely with external auditors during the annual audit process.· Provide administrative support to the development management team and the Board
Education
bachelor's
Requirements
proven background and experience in a relevant financial role, demonstrating competence in various disciplines.· Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.· Competency in dealing with confidential data and exercising sound judgment.· Experience using an accounting system with the ability to adapt computer skills to new systems
