Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering
- knowledge and experience in low volume rapid prototyping technologies as well high-volume processes such as injection moulding
- minimum of 3-5 years' experience in product or systems development, primarily mechanical design focused
- understanding of the basic practical elements of electronic design. Hands-on experience would be beneficial e.g. basic soldering or multimeter measurements
- proficient with 3D modelling software and technical drawing, Solidworks preferred
- knowledge of product risk management up to ISO 14971 and other medical devices standards, particularly ISO 13485 and IEC 60601
- knowledgeable in the creation of specifications, test plans and reports
- experience in DFM, as well as design to manufacture transfer, across relevant manufacturing processes and materials
Responsibility
- design, develop and qualification of new medical device products in accordance with the Company's design control procedures and quality standards
