Responsibility

  • we are looking for a Sommelier to join the team at Elystan Street
  • this 1 Michelin Star Restaurant sits in the beautiful heart of Chelsea. With an intimate 50 seat dining room and 16 seat PDR, there is lots of opportunity to learn and grow as a Sommelier here
  • you will need to have good knowledge about food and wine pairing, we offer everyday a six course tasting menu, which has wines to pair with it
  • ideally we are looking for someone with WSET level 3 or CMS Certified, or if you are working towards these qualifications, as your Head Sommelier I would love to help you attain them, by tastings and trainings
  • working as a Sommelier within our Restaurant will give you exposure to a wine list of over 300 wines, a bar programme, with the opportunity to create new cocktails. Also with the chance to progress into a potential Assistant Head Sommelier role
  • elystan Street is a prestigious 1 Michelin Star Restaurant, owned by Phil Howard and Rebecca Mascarenhas. We focus on local, seasonal produce. We are a close nit team and all work together
  • we are looking for: an outgoing, friendly individual, who is passionate about wine and the industry. Someone who is comfortable running service as a solo Sommelier on the floor, recommending and selling wines from our extensive, international list
