we are looking for a Chef de Partie to join the team on a full time basis
your own transport is essential for this position given our rural location
elmore Court is an award-winning wedding and events venue in Gloucestershire with a family history going back nearly 750 years
here we cater for weddings and other events, meaning our hours are much more sociable than other chef jobs and service time is much shorter, whilst still being able to work with good produce and most importantly in a friendly environment with excellent facilities
generally prep day shifts finish at 4pm and event days at around 7pm. Weekend availablility is essential although we do not hold events on every Sunday throughout the year
the successful chef must be self-motivated, have a passion for great consistent food showing skill and creativity in their cooking, is calm under pressure and be able to work in a small team
experience in weddings & conferences preferred together with a strong background in food-led establishments

we are in a rural position, so transport is required
detailed knowledge of allergens and close attention to detail in delivery and briefing to junior staff, Event Manager and waiting team
excellent communication skills
first rate culinary skills. Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, processes
ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
ability and enthusiasm to learn, and to share your knowledge with others
