- this is a permanent position within the Site Services team at the Element Six Global Innovation Centre in Harwell
Requirements
- NVQ, HNC, B.Tec or similar formal qualifications in an engineering-based discipline
- experienced in safe contractor management
- good communication skills within a team environment when working under pressure
- good IT skills with proficiency in standard office software and relevant software for data acquisition, treatment, and processing
- experienced and proficient in upkeep and fault finding on mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, preferably with additional engineering skills in areas such as hydraulics, vacuum systems, pneumatics, and PLC controls
- good general understanding of health, safety, and quality standards and ability to carry out risk assessments and write operating procedures to a high standard
