Responsibility

  • assist financial advisors in preparing and implementing financial plans for clients
  • conduct research and analysis on investment products, insurance policies, and other financial instruments
  • prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients based on their financial goals
  • help clients with account maintenance, including processing transactions and updating account information
  • collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of client requests

Requirements

  • previous experience in a similar role as a paraplanner is essential
  • strong knowledge of investment products, insurance policies, and financial planning concepts
  • excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • the main role of the paraplanner is to ensure the business generated by our Advisers is processed correctly and efficiently
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing reports and documents
  • the role will include collating client information, document preparation, and case management, amongst other things
  • excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • previous experience in a paraplanning team is essential

  • you will be a qualified solicitor who is STEP qualified or working towards the STEP qualification
  • you will be analytical, literate and have good communication skills
  • this is a busy role, so you must be pro-active, be great at organising your work and time, and have a can-do attitude
  • we also embrace the use of technology; so, you must be willing to embrace new developments when they arise, along with having excellent IT knowledge in MS Office products, you’d ideally have experience in workflow management systems
