Responsibility

  • collaborate with the wider team to conceptualise and implement visually appealing and user-friendly websites
  • ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility of websites, optimising performance and responsiveness for various devices
  • integrate data from various back-end services and databases, ensuring seamless functionality
  • implement best practices in web development and stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field
  • conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to identify and resolve any issues or bugs
  • provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing websites, making updates and enhancements as necessary
  • ensure adherence to web accessibility and security standards throughout the development process
  • develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related frameworks

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Website Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your past projects, especially in WordPress
  • proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
  • in-depth knowledge of at least one modern front-end framework and the ability to adapt to new technologies
  • experience with back-end technologies such as PHP or Node.js
  • strong experience with WordPress, specifically experience in creating and maintaining themes and plugins and e-commerce platforms
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues
  • excellent attention to detail, with a focus on writing clean, well-structured, and efficient code
  • effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
