- ensure that all windows are plumb, level, and securely fitted
- conduct roof work when required for skylight or upper-storey installation
- carry out electrical work related to window installations, such as fitting electric windows or sensors
Requirements
- proven experience as a Window Fitter or in a similar role within the construction industry
- proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to window fitting tasks
- strong understanding of building regulations and safety standards
- ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
- experience with masonry, plastering, roofing, electrical work, fabrication, welding, and painting is highly desirable
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required
