- key Responsibilities
- reconciliation of accounts to supplier statements

- the Finance Department is responsible for all aspects of Financial Control for EDF Trading and the EDF Trading Group, including accounting for, controlling, and reporting on all commodity trading activity, subsidiary entities , group accounting and controlling activities, budgeting, planning and forecasting, and all internal and external financial reporting
- the Corporate Accounting & Control team is responsible for financial accounting, analysis, planning and control in relation to OPEX, fixed assets , and projects , as well as financial and FX components of the income statement and balance sheet

- completion of multi-currency bank reconciliations
- from a control perspective, the team has full ownership of all relevant balance sheet accounts and is responsible for comprehensive balance substantiation for internal review as well as external audit support
- each team within Finance has a core area of responsibility, and works collectively with other teams in Finance and cross-functionally to ensure the effective design, implementation and operation of business processes and controls, responsive and meaningful reporting and analysis, and agility and innovation in support of business and market evolution
- qualified Accountant with 2 or more years commercial PQE
- the role involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the organisation. The main focus of the role is to complete payments, control expenses as well as processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
- assisting with on-going departmental projects and ad-hoc tasks/reporting
- reporting to the Manager – Transaction Control , the Transaction Accountant is responsible for the daily AP & AR and cash allocation processes, ledger maintenance, reporting, and control processes associated with all settlements
