Responsibility
- maintain and update financial records using accounting software Sage
- process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports
- assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required
- collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process
- provide support in preparing tax returns and ensuring timely submissions
- respond to inquiries from management regarding financial transactions and records
- general offices duties including answering phone
Requirements
- proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an accounting environment minimum 2 years experience required
- proficiency in using accounting software, particularly Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
- strong understanding of accounts and financial reporting standards
- excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with team members and external parties
