site supervisor
Responsibility
- we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Supervisor/Fitter to join our team and oversee operations at our recycling facility
- the ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering, along with experience in supervising teams and managing site operations
- supervise Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day activities at the recycling facility, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
- equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and perform routine maintenance on recycling machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of recycled materials
- safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for all staff members
- team Management: Lead and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance and support to maximize productivity and efficiency
- troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues or equipment malfunctions that may arise during operations
Requirements
- background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- proven experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
- excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
- knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in industrial settings
- ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- winchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
