Responsibility

  • we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Supervisor/Fitter to join our team and oversee operations at our recycling facility
  • the ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering, along with experience in supervising teams and managing site operations
  • supervise Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day activities at the recycling facility, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and perform routine maintenance on recycling machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the integrity of recycled materials
  • safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for all staff members
  • team Management: Lead and motivate a team of workers, providing guidance and support to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues or equipment malfunctions that may arise during operations

Requirements

  • background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
  • proven experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery
  • excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
  • knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in industrial settings
  • ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
  • winchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
