Responsibility
- weekly bank reconciliation for UK and foreign bank accounts
- weekly cash flow for UK company
- monthly Payroll using Sage 50
- quarterly VAT return for UK company includes checking transactions are correct
- provide summaries for monthly sales for UK and overseas
- preparing consolidated management accounts
- prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
- develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Requirements
- experience working in SAGE accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll and payroll reports
- strong business acumen especially in dealing with all financial aspects of daily business practice in a SME
- strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations
- stock control including new stock input with complexed BOM is desirable
- dealing with imports and exports would be an advantage
- bookkeeping: 2 years
