Responsibility
- lead and manage the development process for new product lines at Eclat Cosmetic London
- planning and coordinating the delivery of technical information to R&D engineers and designers on new product development projects
- coordinate with marketing team to develop marketing strategies to market new products
- coordinate with engineering team to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations
- monitor market research studies to identify trends or market opportunities for new products
- monitor competitive activities to identify emerging competitors or technologies in the industry or areas of focus
- meet key performance metrics such as growth rate and profitability
- develop new product concepts based on customer needs and competitive activities
Requirements
- proven experience in developing highly technical and consumer facing beauty industry, preferably with experience in developing alongside formulators
- A degree in marketing, business, science or a related field. Any medicine degree will be a bonus
- advanced knowledge of skincare ingredients, trends and topics
- advanced skincare claims knowledge, preferably with experience in managing skincare claims trials, including clinical and consumer trials
- strong copy writing skills, with examples of being able to adapt copy to different audience levels
- broad understanding of the skincare market and of market research techniques
- an innovative and problem-solving attitude with the ability to use data to inform decision making
- strong communication skills; both written & presenting
