  • IT literacy, including a working knowledge of payroll & accounts software packages
  • ability to set and work to financial budgets
  • procurement and managing contracts & suppliers
  • knowledge of specific golf club management software
  • ability and knowledge of running a food and beverage operation
  • competent user of social media platforms to promote and market the Club
  • flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of an active and successful golf club

Responsibility

  • the efficient operational management of Eaton Golf Club Ltd in accordance with the policies and procedures determined by the Board of Directors, with the objective of satisfying the highest expectations of members, visitors and staff, within the framework of the Club’s business plan, policies, procedures and budgets
  • provide data and assist the Finance Director in the preparation of the Annual Accounts, Budgets and Cash Flow Forecasts
  • implement sales strategies, ensuring price integrity and product suitability
  • in conjunction with the Finance Director prepare the quarterly and annual VAT returns to HMRC, calculating the amount on irrecoverable VAT
  • ensure that all external communications documents are produced to a high standard
  • act as the Club’s main contact for members and visitors
  • ensure that all club’s communication streams are relevant and up-to-date
  • monitor the training for all new employees and ensure that all staff understand the requirements of their job, ensuring additional training is provided where necessary
