- resolving customer complaints in a polite and cheerful manner
- identify strategies to attract and retain customers
- to manage the budgets for the Café, looking for ways to decrease operational costs and find ways to increase turn over
- reception of all deliveries for Café supplies and making sure the correct items have been delivered, finding alternatives should the café be short
Requirements
- A background in catering and hospitality
- proven management experience
- food hygiene certificate
- some experience working to prepare fresh meals and home baked cakes
- effective communication skills
- ability to maintain a professional outlook with all colleagues and customers
- sound knowledge of health and safety within the catering industry
- excellent organisational and time management skills
