Responsibility
- conduct MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with DVSA guidelines and standards
- identify and report any faults or issues with vehicles
- carry out repairs and servicing to rectify identified issues
- maintain accurate records of all tests, repairs, and services performed
- provide clear and professional advice to customers regarding vehicle condition and required repairs
- ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated according to regulations
- adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workshop
Requirements
- valid MOT Tester license/certification
- proven experience as an MOT Tester or similar role
- strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and automotive systems
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- A full, clean UK driving license
