• maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files and records
• assist with administrative tasks as required, including typing, data entry, and filing
• as a Care Home Receptionist/Admin, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the East Street team, welcoming visitors and residents, managing phone calls, and handling other general reception duties
• manage and maintain the care home diary and appointments
• manage resident admissions and discharge paperwork
• the successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage their workload effectively, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, residents, and staff
• as a Care Home Receptionist/Admin, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the care home team, welcoming visitors and residents, managing phone calls, and handling other general reception duties
• rate of pay: £11.00 – £12.00 depending on experience

• ensure that all visitors to Eastleigh Care Homes are greeted cheerfully and appropriately
• ensure that all visitors sign in and out of the visitors book in accordance with Company guidelines
• ensure that the reception area is presented in accordance with Company guidelines at all times

• ensure that all policies and documentation displayed in reception is correct and in date
• demonstrate ability to answer the telephone in the correct manner and forward calls appropriately
• various typing and administration duties to include distribution of mail and newspapers, typing of Memos/Activities/Lists/Menus/Staff and Client Lists/Bath Lists, etc., and keeping these up to date at all times
• report immediately to the Registered Manager, or senior person in charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a client, colleague, self or another
• attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required
• adhere to all Company policies / procedures within the defined timescales
• 10. When required ensure correct completion of accident/incident forms for staff and forward appropriately
