- undertake a full range of PTS duties icluding stretcher work and wheelchair clamping, manual handling and moving of patients
- strong communication skills, for example liaising with patients, their families, hospital staff and representatives of other organisation's
- ability to get along with people from all backgrounds and be friendly and caring
- hold a UK Driving licence for over 3 years
- 21 years or over due to insurance purposes
- 12 hour shifts with a crew member
- you will be responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care
Requirements
- strong desire to help others and be a part of their journey
- ability to build rapport with patients and other staff members
- strong communication skills
- must be able to work flexible hours
- must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- phlebotomy experience is a plus
- hemingstone, IP6 9RJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
