Responsibility
- lead and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high quality projects
- develop and implement software engineering strategies, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and mentoring team members
- collaborate with various stakeholders to accurately deliver on key objectives and client expectations
- highlight and address any challenges in the software development lifecycle
- provide support to engineers to aid their development and skills
- motivate and manage team members to ensure projects are delivered within the allocated time frame
- act as a key member of the senior leadership team to help improve engineering functions and aid business growth
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- previous experience as a software engineering manager
- experience in Agile development methodologies is essential
- strong technical skills and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- proactive and effective problem solver, motivated by delivering quality products
- exceptional people management skills to motivate and guide a vibrant team
- good communication and relationship building skills
