Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- to support and enable residents to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual
- to keep training and skill levels up to date and relevant
- support residents to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
- ensure Care Support Plans and Risk Assessments and other information about how to support residents are followed
- be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- this role will include 12 hour shifts and alternative weekends
- work as part of the care team
- respecting the dignity of residents and promoting independence
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- experience in Residential Childcare
- level 3 Children’s and Young People or equivalent
- driver
- able to work unsociable hours
- residential Childcare: 1 year
