workshop engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- preconfigure devices to customer specification
- dealing with sales and customer to ensure accurate and timely delivery of pre-configuration projects and associated paperwork
- troubleshooting and bench testing functionality of equipment and associated components
- communicate with customers in an efficient and professional manner
- attend training on new releases of technology
- working with customers and staff to help and be able to identify issues and find resolutions
- complete DVR and NVR assembly to customer specifications. This includes fitting of storage memory, updating firmware and setting up the devices
- deal with customer returns, where faults are diagnosed, and liaise with manufacturer to provide a solution
Requirements
- customer service experience
- some knowledge of basic electronic principles and computing is preferable but not essential
- IT literate
