Responsibility
- duo Operations UK Ltd is looking for Safety Specialists to join our team on site at Washwood Heath, Birmingham
- travel to other contract sites on occasion but main responsibilities will be on site in HS2 BBV, Washwood Heath site
- supporting the Site Team by providing authoritative advice and guidance on health, safety & environmental matters
- you will work as part of the Duo SHEQ Compliance Team reporting to the SHEQ Compliance Manager
- promoting adherence to the company policies and procedures
- carrying out regular site checks & inspections for HSE compliance
- planning & implementing Safe Systems of Work including production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- reviewing and approving subcontractor RAMS as required
Requirements
- computer literate
- A good communicator
- certified Internal auditor
- good working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and associated standards
- good time management skills, team player
- relevant construction HS&E: 3 years
