Responsibility
- merito is a community-run pub in the heart of Dunlop in East Ayrshire
- we are the first trading community pub in Scotland and the only pub in Dunlop
- we’re looking for a brilliant person to develop Merito as a commercially profitable community pub and hub
- this is a managerial, key holder position and applicants must have a valid Personal Licence
- open for five years we provide a place for people to come together – for darts, jam sessions, bingo, pop up food, family games, music nights, pub quizzes or, simply for a pint
- the role is part-time, 26 hours per week, with room for expansion and additional hours
- we plan to work with local charities and community groups to make sure that no one in our community ever needs to feel lonely
- you’ll do this by reinstating Merito as a highly regarded pub, building a business to be proud of, which responds to the needs of our customers and whole community
