Responsibility
as a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing our cider production operations
supervise and lead a team of bottling personnel, ensuring that production targets, orders fulfilled are and quality standards are met
manage and optimize inventory levels in the warehouse, ensuring adequate supplies for production while minimizing waste and costs
the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership, mechanical skills, and a strong drive to succeed
monitor and maintain equipment functionality, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed. As well as scheduling planned maintenance for production department
implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products
train and develop production team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance
collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations
Requirements
proven track record of successful supervision and leadership, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
mechanical and/or engineering skills or knowledge, enabling the ability to troubleshoot and address equipment issues
strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments
detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
self-starter and motivated individual who can take initiative and drive results
experience in the food and beverage industry, ideally with a focus on brewing, distilling, or cider production not essential but an asset
