production supervisor

Responsibility

  • as a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing our cider production operations
  • supervise and lead a team of bottling personnel, ensuring that production targets, orders fulfilled are and quality standards are met
  • manage and optimize inventory levels in the warehouse, ensuring adequate supplies for production while minimizing waste and costs
  • the ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of leadership, mechanical skills, and a strong drive to succeed
  • monitor and maintain equipment functionality, troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed. As well as scheduling planned maintenance for production department
  • implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products
  • train and develop production team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance
  • collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations

Requirements

  • proven track record of successful supervision and leadership, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment
  • mechanical and/or engineering skills or knowledge, enabling the ability to troubleshoot and address equipment issues
  • strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments
  • detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
  • self-starter and motivated individual who can take initiative and drive results
  • experience in the food and beverage industry, ideally with a focus on brewing, distilling, or cider production not essential but an asset
