  • create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhance retention and transfer
  • work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
  • state instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods

Education

  • proven working experience in instructional design , leveraging AI and latest technologies applied to e-learning content
  • excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • lesson and curriculum planning skills

  • solid knowledge of course development software, ideally Evolve Authoring Tool and Intellum’s Exceed LMS
  • visual design skills and ability to storyboard

  • develop program proposals and design innovative leadership solutions using Duke CE’s resources
  • manage the entire program development process from start to finish, ensuring that program delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
  • collaborate with faculty, other members of the program team, and partners to deliver high-quality programs
  • oversee program budgets, timelines, reporting, and evaluations
  • ensure that all program materials and learning materials are produced at the highest level of quality
  • build and maintain effective relationships with clients, program participants, and other stakeholders
