Responsibility
- diagnose, repair, and maintain small plant equipment such as generators, compressors, power tools, and other machinery
- conduct regular inspections and servicing to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
- maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status
- collaborate with the team to identify areas of improvement in the maintenance process
Requirements
- previous experience as a Small Plant Fitter, forklift experience beneficial but not essential
- strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of petrol, diesel, electric, and hydraulic systems
- ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
- skilled in repairing and maintaining a variety of small plant equipment
- excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- strong communication skills and a team player
- punctuality and a strong work ethic
- basic computer literacy
