Requirements
- good knowledge of welding processes
- preference for site experience and the ability to support emergent works both in the workshop and on site
- site safety training will be provided , however some experience would be beneficial
- mig & Tig experience essential
- MMA preferred
- mechanical Fitting competence
- full Clean Driving Licence
- ability to be able to work away from home as described
Responsibility
- supporting equipment design, development, and maintenance
- operating mechanised welding machines
- manual welding
- general welding and fitting activities
- equipment maintenance
- forklift operation – training will be provided
- mechanical fitting activities
- responsible for shift technical lead – as required, once qualified
