Responsibility

  • you will also need to be fit and have a current driving licence
  • you will arrive each morning ( Mon-Fri - at Smithfield market around 4am in a company supplied van
  • your duties will include the hauling of meat from our suppliers at Smithfield and loading it, then delivering to our customers
  • once your deliveries for the day are completed, the rest of the day is yours
  • we are a family-owned meat wholesaler based in Hemel Hempstead - and we are looking for a delivery driver to join our team
  • we will train you in all aspects of the operation, ensuring that you are fully equipped for your role
  • you will have a winning way with people from all walks of life, be organised and thorough, with a good eye for detail, as well as be reliable, positive, flexible and have excellent communication skills - and live within 30 mins of Hemel
  • in return, we'll offer you a competitive rate of pay as well as many other benefits, including a van to be used for work purposes, meat allowance , bonuses, and paid sick leave
