- degree in Business Studies or other suitable qualification
- 5 years Field Sales Experience
- excellent customer service and communication skills, including experience of communicating at different levels
- proactive, self-motivated and completely customer focused
- demonstrate ability to work under pressure and deliver expectations to deadlines
- experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging customers
- desirable: Experience in Technical Sales role, particularly in an associated industry
- ability to build rapport quickly and develop working relationships
Responsibility
- proactively seek leads and new opportunities for planned maintenance contracts and refurbishment projects
- technical - Undertake site surveys and compile quotations for planned maintenance and refurbishment projects
- ensure an overview understanding of industry guidelines and British Standards in order to provide customers with guidance
- provide and calculate cost sheets for each refurbishment quotation and maintain margins
- new Business Development- Increase Market Share of the UK through developing & establishing relationships with End Users, Multi-Service and Facilities Management Companies
- complete and return documentation for tenders
- update and maintain the Service Stream quote record system
- account Management - Proactively manage a designated geographical area, including existing accounts, working with Service Team to ensure smooth delivery of workflow
