Responsibility
- providing general accounting oversight across all aspects of the accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting and revenue recognition
- collaboration with the SLT in establishing, and documenting, effective processes and controls in relation to both revenue and costs
- ensuring budgets, sales forecasts, cashflow forecasts and financial reports are produced in a timely manner complete with report variances
- coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting
- ensuring month-end and year-end close processes are completed satisfactorily
- maintaining quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- managing compliance with government and HMRC reporting requirements and filing of statutory accounts
- providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy and financial decision making
