- accurately record invoices raised and bills received
- reconcile bank transactions
- post journals for prepayments, accruals, payroll and other monthly/annual adjustments
- prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns for bookkeeping clients
- assist senior accountants in preparation of monthly/yearly management/statutory accounts
- demonstrate a basic understanding of the client’s business and identify potential constructive recommendations
- assist with any other general administration tasks on an ad hoc basis
