customer services manager

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • manage and develop the Customer service team to ensure they are motivated to deliver professional order management to Customers
  • be the point of escalation for Customer Service query resolution and keeping records of past conversations with Customers discussions and correspondence
  • work with the Supply chain team to ensure we have the correct prioritised stock deliveries into our warehouses
  • work with the warehouse team to ensure orders and packing activities are prioritised to ensure Customer delivery dates are achieved
  • develop the process and procedures with the team and ensure there is a Customer complaints procedure and that it is followed and reported on to identify route clauses
  • liaise and work with the BDM's to ensure the company has a holistic view on how we are meeting our Customers needs
  • ensure that work priorities are identified and communicated to the Customer Service team
  • become the Procedural lead on the order management functionality within our Khaos Control ERP system ensuring that operating procedures are designed and implemented

Requirements

  • communication skills that allow you to inform, help customers clearly and to liaise effectively with other professionals
  • listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require
  • confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations
  • motivational skills and an ability to supervise and lead a team of customer service assistants
  • creative thinking, to be able to come up with new ideas to improve customer service standards
  • A commitment to improve your own customer service skills on an ongoing basis
  • 2 years experience at a supervisory level within a fast moving Customer focused brand or retailer
  • 2 years of using Customer order management software
