Responsibility
- maintaining the EMEA ledgers in accordance with group and local statutory accounting requirements
- completion of month end tasks in line with the high-level month end timetable and the detailed month end checklists
- assisting with the half year, interim and year end audit process with preparation of information for external auditors
- assisting with the local statutory accounts under local GAAP across Continental Europe
- promoting best practice across EMEA, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, sharing improved ways of working
- assisting with the implementation, maintenance and improvement of robust month end processes and internal controls to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business
- identifying and flagging concerns promptly to the Senior Financial Accountant EMEA, including risks or opportunities identified for the group
- liaising with peers , ensuring that the ledgers are correct and that all entities meet the respective group period end deadlines
