Responsibility
- to ensure that machines are prepared for dispatch within the allotted timescale to ensure prompt dispatch to end customer
- to complete repairs and maintenance operations within an allotted timescale in a safe and professional manner
- to generate an agreed level of service and maintenance contracts throughout the year
- to ensure service job sheets are completed in a detailed and timely manner
- to provide over the phone technical support
- to carry out repairs and maintenance of company and other products both at the company locations and also at customer premises and workplaces throughout the UK
- to promote the company’s products and services to end user customers with particular emphasis on aftermarket products and parts. To assist sales staff where ever possible
Requirements
- previous repair experience of excavators, compressors and generators is essential
- good knowledge of the plant hire and construction market
- must be able to demonstrate successful previous experience of working in a busy environment and the technical proficiency in servicing and repairing plant equipment
