cnc programmer

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • program and set up CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications
  • read and interpret job orders and drawings
  • select and install tooling, fixtures, and other equipment necessary for production
  • monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • make adjustments to machine settings as needed
  • inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
  • troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • proficient in CNC programming and operation
  • strong knowledge of hand tools and their proper use
  • basic math skills for calculations and measurements
  • experience with materials handling and warehouse operations
  • familiarity with different types of tooling used in machining processes
