Requirements
- proven experience in a similar role, in the plastics manufacturing industry
- in-depth knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, tool design, CAD programmes , for injection moulding and preferably knowledge of extrusion also
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and implement lean manufacturing principles
- excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven analysis
- strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- knowledge of regulatory requirements and certifications relevant to plastics manufacturing
Responsibility
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality control, and supply chain, to drive product quality and on-time delivery
- as the Plastics Manufacturing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency and continuous cost improvement while also developing new product tools with 3rd party designers and tool makers
- support the Sales team as required
