Responsibility
- allocate daily tasks to individual team members, ensuring completion against key performance indicators
- monitor and maintain stock accuracy, organising ad hoc stocktakes as necessary
- provide ongoing monitoring of agreed-upon KPIs, including spare parts scan time
- deliver clear operational direction and management to the team, training and mentoring new members
- ensure team understanding and compliance with the Company's Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
- utilise forklifts and VNA trucks where required
- take a hands-on role as a member of the team to carry out tasks across the warehouse, including daily restocking, scanning, packing, dispatching, unloading, etc
Requirements
- strong communication skills and a hands-on approach, demonstrating proficiency in handling the role's physical demands
- knowledgeable in warehouse health and safety requirements to maintain a secure and compliant work environment
- computer-proficient and adaptable to company software through provided training
- easily commutable to Epsom, Surrey
- experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse environment, with a proven track record of effectively leading and managing teams of four or more individuals
