DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT is looking for employees for positions:

service manager

Responsibility

  • charity Manager
  • managing the day-to-day activities of WCDVS via all service streams, counselling, helpline, group work, support work and practical support
  • support Worker/s
  • management of the quality of the service provision
  • manging the balance of the available service provision vs demand
  • input to the development and ongoing management of new services within the charity
  • being the main interface between the self-employed counselling network and the charity
  • accountable for the charity’s safeguarding procedures and acting as the Safeguarding Lead

Requirements

  • 5 GSCEs at grade C or above, or NVQ level 2 , or equivalent
  • ability to achieve Level 2 Safeguarding qualification
  • experience in the charity sector is preferred
  • knowledge and experience of DA is abuse is preferred
  • ability to maintain DBS clearance
  • good communications skills- written and in person
  • proactive and solution oriented, highly organised and self-motivated
  • enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly, able to work in a small team

Contract type

  • 28 hours per week
