Requirements
- at least 1 year grooming experience in the salon environment
- IDEALLY Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds / Grooming diploma OR experience equivalent to
- most importantly - an adoration and pure love for dogs of all shapes and sizes
- excellent communication skills
- team player and drive/commitment to help the team where needed
- excellent understanding of dog/animal welfare and health & safety laws
- show a proven history through references of reliability, trustworthiness and good organization skills
- ability to confidently groom all dog breeds from start - finish to very high standards, and able to follow ‘breed standards’ or specific customer requests
Responsibility
- keeping the groom room clean and tidy at all times, and doing a full clean down to a high standard at the end of your day
- taking photographs of before/afters for the dogs owners and posting on our social media
