Responsibility
- we are family run Plumbing and Heating Merchant looking to hire a full-time Trainee Internal Sales person
- we are looking for someone willing to learn and able to use their own initiative. You should be computer literate, but full training will be given. A forklift license would be an advantage, although again full training will be given
- you will learn all aspects of our business: serving customers, making up orders/parcels, booking goods in and out using our computer system, loading vans ready for deliveries
- assist customers with product selection and purchases
- greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Requirements
- previous retail sales experience preferred, but not essential
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- excellent customer service skills, in person and on the telephone
- ability to work well as part of a team
