overseeing the day-to-day running of the children's home, ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to
provide leadership and support to staff members and promote a positive and nurturing environment for the children in our care
recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure that they meet the needs of the children in our care
we are currently seeking a Children's Home Registered Manager for our multiple building Ofsted-registered home based in Gravesend. The home provides care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
managing budgets and resources effectively, and ensuring that the home operates in a financially sustainable manner
we have built up an outstanding reputation with nearly 10 years combined experience in the semi-independent supported living sector via, this also enables us to offer a seamless transition into supportive living accommodation, allowing young people to maintain established relationships with a consistent care approach into adulthood
as the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home and ensuring that the children receive the highest quality of care
Requirements
level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
previous experience working as a Registered Manager within a children's home setting
knowledge and understanding of legislation
regulations and guidance relating to residential childcare
experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
excellent communication
leadership and organisational skills
experience in recruiting
