quantity surveyor
Working hours
- part-time | Contract
Responsibility
- you will need to be forward thinking and an excellent communicator, both verbally and written
- the position is part time, maybe suit a semi retired individual or freelance, Reasonable rate offered for the right person
- assist in commercially managing our various projects, providing a comprehensive and professional commercial service from contract award to completion
- work with the commercial and contract lead to ensure all Change Requests are submitted promptly in accordance with the contract
- we are a small scaffolding business and we looking for a driven individual who is willing to hit the ground running and be fully committed to taking responsibility for their own development
- grow relationship with customers and attending meetings to review and resolve commercial issues
- contribute to maximising margin and cash flow, minimising costs and preparing Change Requests and applications for payment in a timely manner for review and submission to the client
- support the provision of all commercial deliverables in line with contract requirements and timescales, monitoring the production of records, correspondence and documentation
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, equivalent qualification
- experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, including part-time while studying would be advantageous
- effective communicator
- surveying: 5 years
