Responsibility
- you will handle a variety of clients mostly family-owned limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and LLP's
- you will be responsible for producing accounts, corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, reviewing junior members work, and co-ordinating workflow
- you will also be involved with arranging and booking in jobs and ad hoc client requirements such as forecasting or general business support issues
- as part of your role you be involved in internal projects to help improve the efficiency and increasing use of IT in your office
Requirements
- strong technical skill set including good standard of reporting requirements and current legislation
- some knowledge of charities and auditing may be useful
- xero, QBO, IRIS, TaxCalc, Receipt bank, Sage and MS Office
- excellent interpersonal and client communication skills
- desire to promote the practice to potential clients
- you will have a strong practice background operating around accounts senior or junior manager level. It would be beneficial if you have broad sector and technical experience ideally gained within a small to medium-sized practice
- full driving licence
