We are looking for a Sales Assistant and Office Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a retail/sales background and be enthusiastic, empathetic and knowledgable about the products they're selling. Our Sales/Office Assistants are responsible for providing customers with superior service and being committed to providing high-quality products and services.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Sell products or services to customers.Inbound and outbound telesales.Qualify sales leads from various lead generation streams.Sell products or services to customers via telephone, mail, or the Internet.Greet and assist customers who enter the store.Answer questions regarding merchandise and services.Maintain inventories of merchandise, money and supplies.Keep records of sales and other business activities.A wide range of office admin duties including sales reports, debtor reporting and support for our servicing team.Introduce, migrate, and train customers to use our new online website.Applicant Criteria:A minimum of C grade GCSE level qualification in English and Maths.Excellent spoken and written English.Experience of delivering exceptional customer service.Proven commitment to continuous improvement and taking the initiative in the workplace.Enthusiastic, hard-working, and reliable.Ability to work as part of a team to achieve objectives.Ideally experience using Sage Accounts platform or similar.Training & Career Progression:The role will be starting within our office and showroom, with support from our current office team and bookkeeper. With training, this will progress into a more advanced administrative role, whilst still conducting showroom sales.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £9.50 per hourBe
